But I will say, yes I do talk about Covid in here and normally avoid that because it's political and I don't bring social media angst into our little playground here on onlyfans. HOWEVER: Remember how I went to a conference in February, then a conference in Las Vegas, and a conference last week? People here have asked "what was it on?" and I have to give vague answers because it's all highly confidential and Non Disclosure Agreement controlled. And that's becaaaause...the topic is data analytics and public health and government policy on Covid. Sort of a look-back, what did we learn, what would we do differently. And since major political decisions were made at the time that greatly affected people, no one can say "you made a mistake" - so...it's confidential. Anyway, when you're in the heat of the battle its unfair later to monday morning quarterback past decisions. But fact is: children are not affected by covid. That's the data, that's the science. About a thousand times more kids die in swimming pools every year than ever died of covid. So I get enraged as a scientist when my monster is sent home! 😆 Btw, one of my past roles was as Division Chief of Data Applications & Systems for the state of California dept of Public Health. So that, plus my other experience, makes me somewhat knowledgeable to advise these groups and conferences. And honestly, a lot of the post-mortem studies are more like addressing major data systems and what happens when you connect unrelated and incompatible databases as was done during covid out of emergency, but led to spurious conclusions or corrupted data that on occasion led policy to be "sub-optimal"
